Oleksandr Hordienko, a farmer with many years of experience in the field, shared his story about the invasion of his farm by Russian drones on the controlled territory of Kherson region. He now does not risk going to the field without his discharged electronic device and a rifle capable of holding 10 rounds. This information was published by the publication 'Hlavkom', citing the magazine 'MOST'.

“The Russians already know me – my headlights are always on, I drive around the field like this,” the farmer recounted, mentioning an incident during the announcement of the so-called 'truce' by the Russian Federation on Easter, when his car was hit by a drone.

After Russian forces retreated from the left bank in November 2022, Hordienko independently cleared his farm of mines and transported about 5 thousand anti-tank mines in KAMAZ trucks, packed in batches of 500. At the same time, the farmer emphasized that Russian drones have become a serious threat as they are now being actively used during attacks like never before.

“I hunted for a long time, but the Russians took my rifle. But I do not give up and bought a new one that shoots 10 times. It is better to keep myself safe,” jokes Hordienko.

It should be noted that Russian troops ruthlessly attack Ukrainian rescuers in Kherson and also target Red Cross service vehicles, resulting in explosions and the destruction of transport. The event reflects the harsh reality of farmers in occupied territories who are constantly under threat from hostile actions. Oleksandr Hordienko has shown a high level of responsibility and readiness to protect his farm from Russian attacks by taking appropriate measures and equipment for this.
