According to glavcom.ua: Today, July 7, around 10:00, a fire occurred at a munitions storage site in one of the communities in Mykolaiv region. This was reported by 'Hlavkom' citing the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The cause of the fire is being clarified, but preliminary information suggests that it is not related to enemy shelling. It is likely that the fire was caused by burning dry grass. An accidental detonation is occurring.
Safety measures and investigation
According to the Southern Defense Forces, emergency services units are working at the site, and the fire has been localized.
The depot is located outside populated areas. There is no threat to the local population, but we ask everyone to stay in a safe place. The military command has established a commission to conduct a detailed investigation of this incident and to determine the guilt of officials whose actions or inaction led to the fire. After all, every piece of material and technical equipment protects the lives and health of our soldiers on the front lines.
