A unique rapana shell maze has been created in the Odesa region: a national record has been set

The maze is located in the family recreation park 'New Vasyuki'. The total length of all partitions is nearly half a kilometer - 486 linear meters, the thickness of the walls is 25 cm, and the area of the maze reaches 911.3 sq. m. More than 134 tons of shells, gathered from all the sea coasts where they were washed ashore by storms, were used to create it. The shells were cleaned under the sun, dried, and weathered for several years.

A unique maze made of rapana shells has been opened in the village of Molodizhne, Odesa region, which has received a record of Ukraine as 'The First Maze Made of Rapana Shells'. This was reported by the head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine, Lana Vetrova.

The owner of the eco-park, Vasyl Voloshynov, noted that this lengthy and painstaking process required great patience, but the result was worth it. The maze has become not only a tourist attraction but also a unique record location in Ukraine. The head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine confirmed the achievement and added the object to the register, emphasizing its uniqueness and scale.
