Shooting at US Fort Stewart base: five soldiers injured, perpetrator apprehended

At one of the largest military bases in the US, namely Fort Stewart, a shooting occurred, resulting in five soldiers being injured. The incident took place in the complex of the second combat team of the armored brigade after 10:56.

The military police promptly intervened, blocking the area by 11:04 and apprehending the shooter by 11:35. The majority of the base was reopened for movement by 12:10, but the area where the shooting occurred remains blocked. The injured soldiers received medical assistance on the spot and were taken to the army hospital. According to command information, there is no threat to the community.

As a result of the incident at the military base in the US, five soldiers have been injured; however, the situation is under control, and there is no threat to the community.
