A memorial has been opened in Poltava region in honor of fallen TCK workers

According to glavcom.ua: A memorial plaque was unveiled in the town of Kobyliaky, Poltava region, honoring the memory of soldiers who gave their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The memorial lists the names of ten soldiers, sergeants, and officers who served in the Third Department of the Poltava District TCK and SP.

According to TCK representatives, the memorial plaque symbolizes memory, gratitude, and respect. It reminds our descendants of the courage of those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine, as well as the high cost of peace. Each name on the plaque is a separate story of heroism, about those who defended the country.

Memory of the heroes who fell

• Senior Sergeant Hrytsai Vasyl Vasylovych (28.01.1972-28.09.2024). ATO participant, died in the hospital after service in Donetsk region.
• Private Kyshko Oleksandr Ivanovych (05.10.1977 – 29.05.2022). ATO participant, died from injuries near Popasna.
• Private Skrypnyk Oleksii Anatoliiovych (24.03.1976 – 05.07.2022). Died during an assault on positions in the Vereshchyna area of Bakhmut region.
• Private Byba Serhii Oleksandrovych (24.07.1979 – 14.10.2022). Died at positions near Kurdiumivka.
• Private Sabadyry Mikhail Oleksandrovych (01.10.1972 – 01.11.2024). Died during a combat mission near Novodanyivka.
• Lieutenant Colonel Ishchenko Serhii Yevhenovych (11.08.1979 – 17.01.2024). Died in the hospital due to illness.
• Junior Sergeant Andriianov Serhii Vasylovych (12.09.1973 – 30.01.2024). Died in a battle near Avdiivka.
• Sergeant Burmistrov Dmytro Serhiiovych (1989 – 20.02.2024). Died during a combat mission near Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia.
• Senior Sergeant Kryvoshlyk Mykola Mykolaiovych (04.06.1977 – 03.08.2022). Died during artillery shelling near Semihiria.
• Captain Shiva Serhii Andriiovych (25.05.1964 – 22.04.2019). Died from an illness contracted during service.

Additionally, a criminal investigation for intentional murder has been opened regarding the death of one conscript in Rivne region.

After a forensic examination, the final cause of death for this soldier will be established.
