In Sumy region, part of the population is left without electricity due to the Russian strike
Today, July 7, Russian troops attacked critical infrastructure in the Sumy region. The head of the Sumy regional administration, Oleg Grigorov, reported this, stating that a critical infrastructure facility in the Sumy district was hit by the occupying Russian army, leading to a power outage in part of the district. Restoration work is currently ongoing. Attacks on civilian infrastructure continue in the region, with reports that two people were injured as a result of shelling carried out by military drones. Civilian buildings were also damaged. Earlier, Russia had already attacked other cities in Ukraine using drones, hitting Territorial Recruitment Centers in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia. Ukrainian authorities continue to restore damaged infrastructure and ensure the safety of residents in affected areas.
