Deadly Collision on Key Ukrainian Highway

According to Главком: A serious traffic accident on the Oleksandrivka – Kropyvnytskyi – Mykolaiv highway has resulted in one fatality and nine people being injured. The crash involved a Mercedes-Benz 313 CDI minibus and a ZAZ-Daewoo passenger car. This route is a significant transport corridor connecting central and southern Ukraine.

The minibus was traveling from Mykolaiv towards Kropyvnytskyi when the collision occurred. A female passenger in the minibus was killed. Nine other passengers sustained bodily injuries and required hospitalization. The minibus driver was born in 1966, and the car driver was born in 1977.

Investigation Underway

The accident happened at an intersection with a field road. Police investigators and emergency services are currently working at the scene. Andriy Dubrova stated that all circumstances of the traffic accident will be thoroughly established as part of the pre-trial investigation.
