Divers Recover Body of 25-Year-Old Man from Pond in Vinnytsia Region After Two-Day Search

According to Главком: On April 28, in the village of Verkhivka, part of the Obodivka community in the Vinnytsia region, State Emergency Service divers retrieved the body of a 25-year-old man from a local pond. The victim was found approximately 100 meters from the shore at a depth of more than 2 meters. The search operation lasted nearly two days.

According to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Vinnytsia region,

“it took rescuers almost two days to locate the man in the pond”

. Investigators are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

This event follows another heartbreaking case on April 15 in the Rivne region, where the body of a missing boy from the village of Kolky was recovered by divers from the State Emergency Service. The boy had disappeared earlier in April.
