Fires broke out in Zhytomyr region due to massive attack by the Russian Federation

According to glavcom.ua: According to preliminary data, no one was injured as a result of the attack. Local mayor Igor Polishchuk reported a massive hostile attack on his city. Drones and missiles were used. The garages of one of the cooperatives and an enterprise became the targets of the attack.

On the night of July 9, the occupiers attacked the Zhytomyr region. Production premises of a carpentry workshop and farm buildings were damaged. Windows in two multi-apartment residential buildings were also damaged. The fire caused by the strikes has been extinguished. Currently, efforts to extinguish another fire are ongoing.

After the attack on Zhytomyr region, the authorities are doing everything possible to establish the circumstances of the incident and find those responsible. Ahead of important negotiations in Minsk, such events may escalate the situation in Donbas, so the authorities are taking measures to ensure the safety of the population.
