New Law on Cancellation: Who Will Be Released Due to Problems with Military Registration

Today, December 4, the law on the cancellation of military conscripted workers, No. 4630-IX, was passed. According to this document, enterprises, institutions, and organizations that are important for the needs of the Armed Forces and other military units now have the right to cancel the military status of their employees. This information was reported by the 'Glavkom' portal, citing the Verkhovna Rada.

If a person who signed an employment contract violates military rules, the cancellation will be granted for 45 days (the probation period). After correcting the violations within 45 days, the cancellation may be extended under general conditions. In case the employee does not correct their violations, they may be dismissed.

Features

Previously, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law on the features of labor relations during martial law (No. 4630-IX). This law allows the cancellation of employees of the defense-industrial complex who have problems with military registration.

Frontline Communities

During the special regime for frontline communities, the government introduced full cancellation of workers. As stated by Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Oleksii Sobolev during the forum 'Reconstruction of Ukraine: Quality Institutions and Economic Security', more than 900 companies could additionally cancel over 30 thousand employees.

The law on the cancellation of military conscripted workers comes into effect, allowing enterprises in essential sectors to ensure their security if necessary. It also defines the procedure for canceling employees who have problems with military registration, which will contribute to increasing the efficiency of management in tense situations.
