NABU uncovers the scale of 'Mindycheit'

On November 25, 2025, a meeting of the Anti-Corruption Committee in parliament took place, dedicated to the Mindycheit case. The head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), Semen Kryvonos, presented the findings of the investigation, which indicate serious scales of criminal activity encompassing over 1000 hours of recordings. During the searches, 527 documents were found confirming the involvement of various individuals in corruption schemes. According to Kryvonos, the number of suspects continues to grow.

Priority areas of the criminal organization's activities

During the meeting, it was also noted that energy is one of the priority areas of the criminal organization's activities. Kryvonos emphasized that 'we already have over 1000 hours of recordings', confirming the seriousness of the situation. He added that 'due to the poor work of law enforcement and the lack of independent bodies, such schemes will continue to exist.'

15 NABU detectives are involved in the investigation, and among the suspects are:

  • 16 deputies, including Anastasia Radina and Yaroslav Zheleznyak;
  • 18 ministers and their deputies;
  • 10 journalists;
  • 9 SBU employees;
  • former leaders of 'Ukrenergo' and 'Naftogaz';
  • representatives of the Ministry of Justice and judicial experts.

The date of the attack on NABU and SAP, which also became an important stage of the investigation, is recorded on July 17.

This case has the potential to significantly impact anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine, and society continues to expect further explanations and results from NABU's work.

The Mindycheit investigation reveals deep corruption ties within the Ukrainian government, which may have serious implications for anti-corruption policy in the country.
