According to hvylya.net: The head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Andriy Pyshny, noted that a gradual impact of the hryvnia devaluation against the euro on prices is expected over the next two to three quarters. He also emphasized that the increase in the euro exchange rate should be reflected in the hryvnia exchange rate.
'I believe that over the next two to three quarters we will see a gradual transfer of the prices of the hryvnia devaluation against the euro that has already occurred. Meanwhile, the hryvnia remains stable against the dollar. The dynamics of the hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar is determined by the market, as provided for by managed flexibility,'
- emphasized Pyshny.
Such changes are related to global uncertainty due to trade wars, which are affecting the situation in the market. Despite this, the consequences of these processes may only manifest in the future.
