The National Bank eases currency restrictions for businesses: what is now allowed
The National Bank has decided to ease currency restrictions in order to facilitate conditions for small businesses in Ukraine and assist Ukrainians abroad during the war. This is reported by 'Khvylia'.
Following appeals from postal operators suffering due to the suspension of the duty-free regime for parcels, the NBU allowed cross-border transfers for customs payments in the USA, if the recipient is the customs or tax service of the USA
Thus, the changes will not significantly impact the exchange rate and international reserves. The rules for applying limits for clients' operations outside Ukraine using hryvnia accounts have also been clarified. This will help avoid delays and fines for postal operators and international couriers, promote the delivery of goods, and support small businesses.
