First Grader Package: When Families Will Receive 5000 Hryvnias on the Diya Card
Ukrainian families with first-graders will soon receive financial assistance as part of the 'First Grader Package' program. Each family will receive 5000 hryvnias to cover expenses for their children's education. The application period has already passed, and those who applied for assistance on time are awaiting the money on their Diya cards. This financial support is available to all families of first-graders in Ukraine, regardless of income or school type.
After receiving the money, parents have 6 months to spend it exclusively on educational needs for their child. They can only purchase items listed in the approved list, such as clothing, shoes, stationery, and books. The funds can be spent both in stores and online shops with the appropriate code. However, it is important to remember that the money can only be used cashlessly and cannot be withdrawn from an ATM.
The total payout amount will only be issued if the program requirements are maintained. This assistance aims to reduce the financial burden on families preparing first-graders for school.
