According to ХВИЛЯ: In 2026, Ukrainians who become parents can apply for increased childbirth assistance through the "Diia" portal. The payment amounts to 50 thousand hryvnias for children born after January 1, 2026. This initiative aims to support young families and alleviate the financial burden associated with childbirth.

Additionally, the financial compensation for the "Baby Package" has also changed and increased to 8451 hryvnias. In comparison, the amount of assistance for children born in 2025 remains at 41280 hryvnias. This indicates a growth in state support for newborns in 2026.

Restrictions on service availability

It should be noted that from December 24, 2025, the service of receiving payments through the "Diia" portal will be unavailable online for residents of 11 regions of Ukraine. The list of these regions includes:

• Dnipropetrovsk
• Zaporizhzhia
• Odesa
• Mykolaiv
• Kherson
• Kirovohrad
• Sumy
• Poltava
• Chernihiv
• Donetsk

This may affect the availability of services for parents in these regions.
