NATO prepares to expand the PURL initiative: which countries will help Ukraine with weapons

New countries may join the PURL initiative to supply weapons to Ukraine

A NATO representative stated that the alliance hopes for an increase in the number of countries financing the supply of American weapons to Ukraine through the PURL initiative (NATO Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List).

'Participation in this initiative is voluntary, and we strongly encourage all allies to join it,' said the NATO representative.

Assistance will be provided regularly and swiftly, and it is expected that new participants in the program will be announced soon. It was previously reported that NATO and the United States launched a new aid scheme for Ukraine.
