NBU published exchange rates for March 2: the hryvnia strengthened

The National Bank of Ukraine has published official exchange rates for Monday, March 2. The hryvnia has strengthened against both the dollar and the euro. This is reported by Fair.

The official dollar exchange rate is set at 43.10 UAH per dollar, which is 11 kopecks lower than the previous figure.

NBU exchange rates on March 2: official indicators

The euro has also fallen in value. The National Bank has set its rate at 50.87 UAH per euro. Compared to the previous day, the hryvnia has strengthened by 15 kopecks.

Thus, at the beginning of March, the national currency shows a positive trend against major foreign currencies.

Interbank market and cash rates

On the interbank foreign exchange market as of 16:00, the hryvnia was traded at:

  • 43.07/43.10 UAH per dollar

  • 50.84/50.87 UAH per euro.

The day before, on February 27, the average dollar exchange rate in banks fell to 43.47 UAH. The US currency could be sold at an average of 43 UAH.

The average euro exchange rate rose to 51.40 UAH, while sales were made at 50.78 UAH.

In PrivatBank, the dollar fell to 43.35 UAH, the euro to 51.35 UAH. The selling rate was 42.75 UAH per dollar and 50.35 UAH per euro.

Recall that earlier experts predicted moderate stability in the foreign exchange market at the beginning of spring.
