Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions appear on new commemorative coins of Ukraine

New National Bank coins: release details

According to НБУ: In Ukraine, the patriotic series "We are strong. We are together" expands: the National Bank is introducing two commemorative coins dedicated to the Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions. The denomination of each coin is 10 hryvnias. The reverse features a stylized map of the country with administrative borders and highlighted territories of these regions. The design of the reverse side was created by Oleksandra Kuchynska, while the obverse was crafted by Volodymyr Dmyvianenko, who also served as the sculptor.

The coins will gradually enter circulation. The print run for each will be 2 million pieces. Part of the print run will be formed into rolls of 25 coins, with each roll consisting of 15 thousand pieces. The front side of the coins mimics the obverse of the 10 hryvnia coin sample from 2018.
