Заробіток пенсії після 60: які переваги отримають працівники за складені роки трудової діяльності.

The press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine reported that those who decide to work after 60 years can expect financial benefits. In this case, the pension is granted taking into account the additional insurance period at the time of application, not automatically upon reaching the required age.

For each full month of deferral, the pension payment may increase:

  • by 0.5% for each month of work up to 60 months;
  • by 0.75% for work exceeding 5 years after reaching retirement age.
Even one year of deferral brings an increase of +6% to the pension, and prolonged work after 60 years significantly increases future income.

A special supplement for additional service is provided for those who continue to work after retirement. For each year of work beyond the established minimum, an additional 1% is credited to the pension amount.

In 2025, for each year of additional service, over 23 hryvnias will be credited.

Service for retirement in Ukraine

The minimum requirements for the insurance period in 2025 depend on the age when a person plans to retire. To receive a pension at 60, it is necessary to have at least 32 years of service. The absence of the required service at age 60 will not allow one to receive a pension, but this can be done at 63 or 65 years depending on personal choice.

Therefore, working after 60 years can be beneficial for retirees, as the additional service after retirement age brings additional payments. This can significantly increase future income and provide more comfortable living conditions during the retirement period.
