Negative forecast for gasoline comes true: what are the prices at gas stations

At Ukrainian gas stations, a slight increase in the price of A-95 gasoline has been recorded, but the overall trend confirms the previously published forecasts of slow price growth. On November 21, the average price was 58.52 UAH per liter, which is 1 kopiyka higher than the day before. This is reported by OBOZ.

Gasoline prices: current situation at gas stations

According to the A-95 Consulting Group, in large networks, gasoline is sold from 50 to 61.99 UAH per liter. The most expensive are WOG, OKKO, and Shell, where A-95 costs 61.99 UAH. The lowest prices are recorded at ZOG gas stations – 50 UAH per liter.

During the week, there were no significant jumps: since Monday, the resource has increased by a symbolic 1 kopiyka. Experts note that no significant changes are expected in the market until November 23.

Forecast for the future: how gasoline prices will increase

Experts emphasize that significant changes may begin in December. This is due to a new excise tax, which will come into effect on January 1, 2026 – it will increase from 271.7 to 300.8 euros per thousand liters. This increase may affect prices as early as the end of 2025.

In the professional community, it is predicted that due to the new excise tax, gasoline may rise in price by about 2 UAH per liter in December. The National Bank also warns that the increase will continue throughout the following year.

For now, prices remain relatively stable, but the market is in a state of anticipation – the situation could change sharply in a few weeks.
