Night Attack on the Russian Federation: Lukhovitsky Plant, Manufacturer of MiG, Attacked
According to glavcom.ua: The plant is involved in the development of new military aviation models, including projects for the 'promising frontline fighter' based on MiG and the modernization of the drones 'Geran' and 'Shahed'.
On the night of July 11, drones attacked the Lukhovitsky Aviation Plant, which specializes in the production and modernization of MiG-29, MiG-31 fighters and their modifications. This was reported by the director of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation, Andrey Kovalenko.
On Friday, July 11, drone attacks were also recorded in the Russian cities of Tula and Dubna. Targets included a design bureau, an aviation plant, and a company engaged in the development of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Drones Attacked the Design Bureau in Tula
According to information in social networks, in Tula, the drones may have been targeting the Design Bureau of Instrument Engineering named after Academician A. Shipunov. This enterprise is a key manufacturer of anti-aircraft missile and artillery systems and plays an important role in air defense.
During the night drone attack on the Lukhovitsky Aviation Plant in the Moscow region and the Design Bureau in Tula, the defensive systems of these enterprises, which are critically important for the country's defense, were compromised. Attacks on these facilities indicate new challenges and threats facing the military-industrial complex and defense systems of Russia.
