According to Главком: During the night of June 15, the Ukrainian capital came under fire, sparking a blaze in the Obolon district near the Pochaina metro station. At least two helicopters from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) were deployed to extinguish the flames, drawing water from the Dnipro River.
The assault struck several key locations. Notably, the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra was hit, setting the roof of the Dormition Cathedral ablaze. Residential buildings also suffered damage: in the Pechersk district, a five-story apartment building was impacted, while in Obolon, a home was partially destroyed between the third and fourth floors. In the Solomyansky district, a nine-story residential building was also hit.

Beyond the residential areas, the attack triggered a fire at the National Film Studio of Ukraine named after Oleksandr Dovzhenko. This strike destroyed the country's largest and oldest costume collection, which housed around one hundred thousand costumes and three million clothing items.
