New Phase of the Battle: What Is Happening in the Pokrovsk Direction

According to hvylya.net: In Eastern Ukraine, Russian troops continue their aggression, trying to break through in the section of the front between Konstantinovka and Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. Viktor Trehubov, a representative of the operational-strategic group of troops 'Khortytsia', reported that the occupiers attempted to bypass the defenses of Pokrovsk from the east, avoiding a direct assault on the city.

According to Trehubov, the Pokrovsk direction is important for the Russian troops, who have concentrated their main forces there. Despite this, there is currently no threat of a direct assault on the city, as the occupiers have chosen a flanking tactic to avoid significant losses among their troops.

'Despite all the power they are currently using, it is still impossible for them to repeat the 'meat assaults' due to the lack of human resources. Therefore, they are trying to partially encircle the city,' Trehubov noted.

Russian troops continue their attempts to advance in the Donetsk region, trying to launch an attack in the Pokrovsk direction, but currently avoid direct assaults, opting for a tactic to bypass the city to reduce losses.
