Lonely pensioners from frontline regions will receive subsidies for fuel: who qualifies

Additional assistance in the form of subsidies for solid fuel will be provided to support elderly people living on the front line, as revealed by the head of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, Yevhen Kapinus, in a special interview with 24 Kanal. He emphasized that this aid will be directed to the most vulnerable categories of citizens living in frontline areas.Moreover, the head of the PFC mentioned that single disabled pensioners living in the specified regions who heat their homes with solid fuel will be able to receive assistance. Thus, pensioners from nine regions of Ukraine who heat their homes with solid fuel will receive this payment. It is also worth noting that since October, a system of age-related supplements to pensions has already been in effect.
