New Tactics in the South: Russians Abandon Direct Assaults
According to hvylya.net: In southern Ukraine, particularly in the Dnipro direction, the Russian military has changed its tactics for attacking defense forces positions. Instead of direct assaults, they now try to get behind Ukrainian defense forces.
A representative of the Southern Ukraine Defense Forces, Colonel Vladislav Voloshin, explained that when direct enemy offensives fail, the occupiers change their approach and use anti-thermal cloaks for stealthy infiltration into the rear of Ukrainian positions, involving professionals for such operations.
'They use the most modern equipment - anti-thermal cloaks, 'sneak in', wait for reinforcements, and then start controlling logistical routes. They are covered and equipped with specific drone equipment,' Voloshin said.
Voloshin also mentioned an example of the new tactics employed by Russians near the Antonov bridges. Russian special forces and special reconnaissance brigades attempted to approach Ukrainian units through the reeds, but this could lead to combat actions.
Russian occupiers on the Dnipro have changed their tactics, trying to get behind Ukrainian positions and using anti-thermal cloaks and professionals for this. Such a strategy could pose new challenges for Ukrainian defense forces in the future.
