According to hvylya.net: The free trade agreement between the EU and Ukraine has taken on a new development. The European Commission confirmed the completion of negotiations, and the European Commissioners expressed optimistic remarks regarding the agreement. Specific details are not yet disclosed, but there are already certain improvements for Ukrainian producers, especially in the agricultural sector.
The parties reached a fundamental agreement on revising the provisions of trade liberalization within the framework of the Association Agreement. This step marks a new phase in the creation of long-term, predictable, and mutual frameworks, said Šefčovič.
In particular, the agreement concerns the import of agricultural products, which is of significant importance for Ukrainian farmers and producers. The liberalization of trade in this area could become an important step for the development of Ukrainian exports and increasing its volumes in the European market.
