Under the new rules, the most straightforward route to legal employment involves securing a contract with a Spanish company while still in one's home country. Foreign students who graduate from Spanish educational institutions will be granted a two-year period to seek employment after receiving their diploma.

Family Reunification Requirements

To qualify for family reunification, a migrant must have resided legally in the country for at least one year and possess a valid residence permit for a minimum of one additional year. Mandatory conditions for reuniting families include:

• proof of sufficient financial resources;
• adequate housing.
