According to hvylya.net: Ukraine will continue to exchange prisoners of war with Russia, as it has a sufficient number of Russian prisoners of war. This was stated by the speaker of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, Peter Yatsenko, on the 'Espresso' television channel.

According to Yatsenko, there are five camps in Ukraine where Russian prisoners of war are held in accordance with the Third Geneva Convention. He also emphasized that there is a sufficient fund for exchanges and for the return of Ukrainian citizens from captivity.

'We are gathering information, studying data about our people who are in captivity or in detention when it comes to civilians.'

The Coordination Headquarters is carrying out significant work on behalf of the President of Ukraine to prepare for exchanges. Many such exchanges took place even before agreements in Istanbul, but thanks to these agreements, it was possible to free more people. Regardless of the circumstances, all structures involved in this process continue to work for the release of Ukrainian military personnel and civilians from Russian captivity.

Ukraine confirms its readiness for new exchanges of prisoners of war with Russia and announces the availability of necessary resources for this process. The Coordination Headquarters is actively working on the release of Ukrainian citizens from captivity while ensuring compliance with international standards in this area.
