Russian Shelling Caused Blackouts: How Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk are Experiencing the Consequences

According to Главком: The massive shelling by the occupiers has resulted in significant blackouts in the Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. In connection with this, emergency measures are underway in Dnipro and the surrounding areas to restore electricity supply. Power outages in most general secondary education institutions have led to an extension of the students' vacation. Ukrenergo has appealed to the residents of Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia with an urgent request to adhere to safety measures.

In support of local residents, over 160 resilience points have already been opened in Zaporizhia and the region, providing citizens with essential resources and safety during crises. These points are created so that people can receive assistance in conditions of electricity supply shortages and other conveniences caused by shelling.

International Reaction to the Situation in Ukraine

In addition to the events in Ukraine, the global community is also responding to the situation in Venezuela. According to reports, 100 people died as a result of a U.S. operation that removed President Nicolás Maduro. Venezuelan military published a list of 23 deceased servicemen, which caused outrage among the population and international observers.

Meanwhile, in the United States, Senator Lindsey Graham stated that President Donald Trump supported a bill for new sanctions against Russia. According to him, a vote on this bill could take place as early as next week. Trump has given the 'green light' to a bipartisan bill to strengthen sanctions, indicating an intensification of U.S. action in response to Russia's aggression.

Additionally, Trump reported a phone call with Colombian President Gustavo Petro, which may indicate discussions on international politics and security issues related to the situation in Ukraine and Latin America. These events suggest that tensions in the world continue to rise, as the international community seeks ways to respond to challenges related to security and stability.

The situation in Ukraine continues to remain tense, as shelling leads to serious consequences for the population, including power outages that complicate people's daily lives. The expansion of the network of resilience points demonstrates the state's efforts to support residents in critical conditions, but it also indicates the duration and depth of the crisis. The international reaction, particularly from the United States, may impact the further development of events, as strengthening sanctions against Russia could become an important step in the context of global security and stability.
