Russia attacked Poltava region: energy facility damaged, fires reported
Massive shelling of Poltava region
According to glavcom.ua: At night, the enemy attacked the Poltava region. An energy sector enterprise was targeted, leading to a fire. This was reported by the head of the Poltava OVA, Volodymyr Kohut, – according to 'Hlavcom'.
In the Poltava district, debris falling and direct hits were recorded. Administrative buildings, transport, and equipment were damaged.
'Household and legal consumers are without electricity. Currently, the fires are localized, and electricity supply has been restored. Fortunately, there were no casualties,' Kohut reported.

The day before, Russian troops launched a massive drone attack on Sumy region. Infrastructure was damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
This marks the 1281st day of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. The enemy has carried out many missile and air strikes, shelling from multiple rocket systems, and using kamikaze drones. Aviation strikes were carried out in several regions, including Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.
As a result of the massive shelling of the Poltava region, energy sector facilities were affected, but fortunately, human casualties were avoided. The day before, an attack on Sumy was also recorded, but Russian drones did not cause casualties among the civilian population. Military aggression continues, and the enemy continues to use various types of weapons against Ukraine.
