According to Пенсії (RSS): The 2026–2027 heating season is now underway, and the Ukrainian Pension Fund will automatically update the subsidies for those already receiving support. There is no need to reapply unless personal circumstances have changed. New applicants or individuals who were denied subsidies during the non-heating period must submit a fresh application. This also applies to cases where household composition or other relevant circumstances have been altered.

How to Apply for Heating Subsidies

Applications for subsidies can be submitted through multiple channels:

• In person,
• By mail,
• Online via the Pension Fund of Ukraine’s web portal or mobile app,
• At Administrative Service Centers (CNAPs) and through authorized community representatives.

To qualify for subsidies starting in October, applicants must submit their forms within two months from the heating season’s commencement.

The subsidy payment period for heating runs from October 16 to April 15 inclusive. For October, subsidies cover 16 days-from October 16 through October 31-and payments for this month are processed in November. Subsidies account for expenses related to thermal energy, natural gas, and electricity used for centralized, autonomous, and individual heating systems. Beneficiaries can view their subsidy amounts starting in November via their personal account on the Pension Fund’s web portal under the 'My Subsidy' section.

Automatically recalculating subsidies for current recipients streamlines the process and reduces bureaucratic burdens, allowing citizens to avoid unnecessary paperwork each season.
