NABU exposes bribery to former Vice Prime Minister Che Guevara: millions of dollars in cash
According to information from law enforcement, the cash transfer of 1.2 million US dollars and almost 100 thousand euros took place directly in the office of the criminal organization or in a medical clinic owned by one of the defendants in the case. Additionally, 500 thousand US dollars were transferred to 'Che Guevara's' wife after the former Vice Prime Minister became a suspect in corruption crimes according to NABU and SAP.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) conducted operation 'Midas', during which they uncovered a scheme for transferring funds to a former Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, known by the code name 'Che Guevara'. This was reported by NABU's press service.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau does not disclose the real name of the person under the code name 'Che Guevara'. However, some media reports suggest that the individual in question is Oleksiy Chernyshov.
