Breakthrough of slurry at the mine: how rescuers worked for 14 days at a depth of 410 meters

According to glavcom.ua: Ukraine is once again faced with tragic news about a disaster at the mine. This time, two miners perished at a depth of nearly 500 meters due to a breakthrough of slurry. Rescuers performed heroic work, complicated by a large volume of slurry and unfavorable conditions. The operation lasted 14 days and required great efforts from all involved.
The accident occurred at the Ingul State Enterprise when the hydraulic filling broke through and flooded the horizon where the miners of the company «Sviteks» were working. This tragedy serves as a reminder of the dangers of the mining industry and emphasizes the importance of safety in the workplace.
