The Odesa Portside Plant continues to seek investors through a repeat auction for privatization, also known as OPP. The first bidders for the asset did not appear, so the auction was recognized as having not taken place. The object requires significant investments and specialized expertise, so international partners emphasized the need for additional time and adjustments to the conditions for full participation in the privatization. Legislators are already working on a bill that envisages the possibility of offering large privatization objects with a phased reduction of the starting price to increase the chances of sale at market value.
