Russia has changed its tactics in the Orikhiv direction: switched to night micro-groups
According to hvylya.net: In the Orikhiv direction, enemy forces have changed their tactics and now operate in small groups at night, avoiding massive assaults. At the same time, both sides are actively using drones, creating a tense situation at the front.
According to the head of the communications department of the 118th separate mechanized brigade, Dmytro Pelikh, the enemy no longer risks carrying out large attacks and is trying to advance safely in small groups under the cover of night.
Drones at the front
A significant problem has become the large number of drones in the air, which are used by both sides in the conflict. The open deployment of drones makes any movement of forces noticeable to the enemy, complicating defense and aiding reconnaissance of enemy positions.
Ukrainian drones are actively used to attack enemy logistics and block the movement of enemy forces on roads, forcing the opponent to switch from mass attacks to night operations.
The change in enemy forces' tactics in the Orikhiv direction, the concentration of drones in the air, and their active use in operations are key features of the situation at the front, which increases tension and the need for enhanced defense and counterintelligence measures.
