According to Пенсії (RSS): The approved budget of Ukraine's Pension Fund (PFU) allocates funds to fully resume pension payments that were previously suspended. This move is a significant step in improving the financial security of citizens who, for various reasons, had not been receiving their pensions. As of January 1 of this year, payments have already been restored to 68,000 individuals.

The deadline for submitting a declaration of non-receipt of funds from the Russian Federation has been extended to April 1, 2026. For those who could not submit the declaration on time, payments have been restored automatically. Following the completion of identification and declaration procedures, payments are also reinstated automatically.

Available Identification Methods

The Ukrainian Pension Fund offers several ways to complete the required identification:

• via the PFU portal and the Diia app
• online interview
• through a bank
• at an embassy abroad
• at a service center

These options are designed to make it more convenient for citizens to fulfill all necessary procedures to receive their pensions.
