Ukraine Allocates 32.6 Billion UAH for Pensions; Over 442,000 Services Delivered in October
Overview of Social Payment Funding in Ukraine
According to Пенсії (RSS): By October 9, 2023, Ukraine secured financing for various social benefits, including pensions, housing subsidies, insurance payouts, and other social assistance. Pension disbursements alone amounted to 32.6 billion UAH, divided as follows:
- 5.2 billion UAH distributed via JSC 'Ukrposhta',
- 27.4 billion UAH processed through authorized banks.
Additionally, housing subsidies and related benefits received 1.5 billion UAH in funding, while insurance payments totaled 1.9 billion UAH, with 0.5 billion UAH allocated specifically for sick leave compensation. Other social support payments reached 4.3 billion UAH. In October alone, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has provided over 442,000 services to applicants.
