Over 37 Billion Hryvnias Allocated by Pension Fund for Pensions, Subsidies, and Social Benefits

Ukraine’s Social Payments Update as of September 2023

According to Пенсії (RSS): By September 9, 2023, Ukraine’s Pension Fund had disbursed funds covering a variety of social benefits, including pensions, housing subsidies, insurance payments, and other social assistance. Pension payments alone amounted to 27.2 billion hryvnias, with 4.3 billion hryvnias distributed via JSC 'Ukrposhta' and 22.9 billion hryvnias through authorized banks.

Additionally, 1.4 billion hryvnias were allocated for housing subsidies and related benefits, while insurance payments reached 1.9 billion hryvnias, including 0.6 billion hryvnias specifically for sick leave compensation. Social aid and other welfare payments accounted for 6.4 billion hryvnias. In September, Pension Fund offices provided services to 406,500 citizens seeking support.
