UAH 29.3 Billion Released by Pension Fund to Cover September Payments
Pension Disbursements and Social Benefits Overview
According to Пенсії (RSS): By the close of business on September 4, Ukraine's Pension Fund had channeled financing toward pensions, housing subsidies, privileges, insurance payouts, sick leave, social assistance, and other obligations. A total of UAH 19.7 billion went specifically to pension payments, with UAH 2.8 billion distributed through JSC Ukrposhta and the remaining UAH 16.9 billion paid out via authorized banking institutions.
Beyond pensions, UAH 1.4 billion was earmarked for housing subsidies and benefits, UAH 1.6 billion for insurance claims, UAH 0.3 billion for sick leave compensation, and UAH 6.3 billion for social assistance and miscellaneous payments. During September, the authority also delivered 227,700 services to citizens who approached its regional offices. These figures illustrate the scale of the fund's monthly payout operations.

The latest numbers underscore the Pension Fund's extensive activity in upholding social guarantees across the country. Pension financing continues to serve as the backbone of state support, especially while households face tightening economic conditions.
Likewise, the continued allocation of housing subsidies and other targeted aid highlights the government's commitment to assisting vulnerable groups. With these outlays, the fund demonstrates its central role in maintaining a social safety net during a period of sustained fiscal pressure.
