Pension Fund Allocates UAH 31 Billion for Social Payments

Social Payments in Ukraine as of June 2023

According to Пенсії (RSS): As of June 5, 2023, Ukraine has funded a series of social payments, with UAH 21.8 billion designated for pensions. Out of this amount, UAH 2.9 billion was disbursed via Ukrposhta JSC, while UAH 18.9 billion was distributed through authorized banks.

Additionally, UAH 1.4 billion was allocated for housing subsidies and benefits. Insurance payments received UAH 1.7 billion, of which UAH 0.4 billion was earmarked for sick leave compensation. Furthermore, UAH 6.2 billion was provided for social assistance and other payments.

In June, the Pension Fund of Ukraine delivered 392,400 services to individuals seeking support.

These disbursements are a cornerstone of the state's social policy, designed to support the population amid economic challenges. Given the current situation in the country, such financial injections may help mitigate socio-economic impacts, particularly for vulnerable groups who rely on government aid to meet their basic needs.
