In July, Ukraine’s Pension Fund Allocated 37.9 Billion UAH for Social Payments

According to Пенсії (RSS): As of July 13, funding has been disbursed for pensions, housing subsidies, benefits, insurance payouts, and social assistance. During July, the offices of the Pension Fund of Ukraine delivered 568,700 services to individuals seeking support.

Breakdown of Allocated Funds

Specifically, 37.9 billion UAH was earmarked for pension payments, distributed as follows:

• 6.3 billion UAH via Ukrposhta JSC;
• 31.6 billion UAH through authorized banks.

Housing subsidies and benefits received 1.3 billion UAH, while insurance payouts totaled 2.1 billion UAH-of which 0.8 billion UAH covered sick leave. Additionally, 6.6 billion UAH was allocated for social assistance and other payments.

These disbursements from the Pension Fund are a critical component of social support for the population, especially amid economic challenges. Ensuring timely pensions and other social benefits helps maintain financial stability for citizens, particularly the elderly and those in need of aid. This also reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to uphold social protection during current hardships.
