Pension Fund Allocates 50.7 Billion UAH for Payments
Ukraine's Pension Fund Financing Update
According to Пенсії (RSS): As of July 14, 2023, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has disbursed a total of 50.7 billion UAH in payments, including 635,600 services provided to individuals who applied to the fund's offices. This funding is a critical part of Ukraine's social safety net amid ongoing economic pressures.
Of this amount, 40.5 billion UAH went toward pension payments. Specifically, 6.7 billion UAH was channeled through Ukrposhta JSC, while 33.8 billion UAH was distributed via authorized banks. Additionally, 1.3 billion UAH was allocated for housing subsidies and benefits, and 2.3 billion UAH for insurance payments-of which 0.9 billion UAH covered sick leave. Social assistance and other payments received 6.6 billion UAH.
