Pension Fund Allocates 62.3 Billion UAH for Social Payments

According to Пенсії (RSS): As of June 21, 2023, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has disbursed funding for a range of payments, including pensions, subsidies, insurance, and social benefits. In June alone, 1,130.5 thousand services were provided to individuals who approached the Fund's offices.

Breakdown of Payments

Specifically, 62.3 billion UAH was allocated for pension payments, distributed as follows:

• 8.9 billion UAH channeled through Ukrposhta JSC;
• 53.4 billion UAH via authorized banks.

Housing subsidies and benefits accounted for 1.4 billion UAH. Insurance payments totaled 2.8 billion UAH, of which 1.4 billion UAH was designated for sick leave compensation. Social assistance and other payments received 10.5 billion UAH.

These financial injections are critical for maintaining social stability in Ukraine, especially amid ongoing economic challenges. The disbursement of pensions and social aid helps ensure a minimum standard of living for many citizens, a particularly pressing need given the country's difficult socio-economic climate.
