Overview of Social Benefit Funding in Ukraine

According to Пенсії (RSS): By September 14, 2023, Ukraine's Pension Fund had allocated funds for pensions, housing subsidies, benefits, insurance payments, social assistance, and other related disbursements. Pension payments alone reached 40.1 billion hryvnias, with 6.6 billion hryvnias distributed through JSC 'Ukrposhta' and 33.5 billion hryvnias processed via authorized banks.

Additionally, 1.4 billion hryvnias were dedicated to housing subsidies and benefits, while insurance payments totaled 2.2 billion hryvnias, including 0.8 billion hryvnias earmarked for sick leave compensation. Social aid and other payments accounted for 6.5 billion hryvnias. In September, nearly 579,000 services were provided to individuals contacting the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
