The Pension Fund paid UAH 47.8 billion: how millions of Ukrainians receive payments

According to hvylya.net: The Pension Fund of Ukraine has published its data on the financing of social payments as of August 18 of the current year. This information was disseminated by the PFU press service.

• UAH 47.8 billion was spent on pension payments, which constitutes the main part of social expenditures. The money for pensions was transferred through JSC 'Ukrposhta' (UAH 8.1 billion) and authorized banks (UAH 39.7 billion).

• Significant amounts were also allocated for other social measures for citizens. For example, UAH 1188.8 million was spent on housing subsidies and benefits to support the payment of utility services. Insurance payments amounted to UAH 2183.2 million, including for sick leave – UAH 953.2 million. State assistance for various categories of citizens received funding of UAH 7094.1 million.

In total, in August, the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided 636.5 thousand services to citizens who applied for various types of social support.

It is worth noting that in August changes were made to social payments for pensioners.

In August, the Pension Fund of Ukraine allocated significant sums for pensions and other social payments, directing funds to support citizens in various areas of life. The number of services provided to citizens indicates a significant demand for social support in Ukraine.
