Pentagon approves transfer of Tomahawks to Ukraine: what it will change on the front
Former Odessa mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov has been placed under round-the-clock house arrest for 60 days and must wear an electronic bracelet due to suspicions of official negligence that led to a tragedy during bad weather. Along with Trukhanov, eight other individuals have been charged with improper performance of official duties, which resulted in flooding and loss of life.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed decrees imposing sanctions against pro-Russian propagandists and manufacturers of the Russian military-industrial complex. The sanctions also apply to individuals and companies from China and Iran that circumvented the sanctions by supplying goods to Russia.
For the first time, Ukraine has handed over a Russian serviceman to Lithuania for criminal prosecution for war crimes related to torture and inhumane treatment of prisoners.
The Pentagon has agreed to supply Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles, asserting that this will not harm U.S. stockpiles. Additionally, Ukraine has been provided with 20 million hryvnias in bail for former military member from Odessa Oblast Yevhen Borysov.
As a result of judicial decisions and actions by the Ukrainian government, Odessa mayor Trukhanov finds himself under house arrest due to suspicions of involvement in the tragedy during bad weather. The government is also actively applying sanctions against pro-Russian elements and accomplices of the Russian military-industrial complex, seeking ways to support the sovereignty and security of the country.
