Ukraine and Moldova Strengthen Security: What Decisions Were Made Due to Russian Aggression
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksandr Mishchenko participated in important meetings during his visit to Moldova. First, he spoke with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Mihai Popsoi. Then consultations were held with the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania Ana Tinca. A meeting of the National Coordinators of the 'Odesa Triangle' was also held.
During the meetings, issues of regional security, cooperation in the field of security, and countering disinformation were discussed. The necessity for further international support for Ukraine in the context of aggression and the development of joint projects to improve the effectiveness of regional transportation routes was emphasized.
At the meeting of the coordinators of the 'Odesa Triangle', priorities for cooperation were identified, including countering hybrid threats, developing transportation and logistics infrastructure, and strengthening the security of the Black Sea region.
Ukrainian representatives emphasized the importance of international support in the context of the ongoing conflict in the east of the country and the joint work to ensure peace and stability in the region.
