According to Міністерство Здоров'я: The first standard of rehabilitation assistance for adults and children after limb amputation in Ukraine is a significant step towards improving the healthcare system. This document lays the foundation for a unified approach to patient rehabilitation across the country, establishing requirements for the quality and continuity of care.
The standard provides for a mandatory composition of the rehabilitation team, assistance at various stages after amputation, and implements quality indicators and new technologies for prosthetics. Importantly, these changes are aimed at improving the quality of life for people with amputations.
