According to glavcom.ua: At the championship of Russia in sidecar motocross, a tragedy occurred – Ruslan Kozub died. During the qualifying race in the 750 cc class, two crews collided, resulting in the motorcyclist suffering fatal injuries. He was 32 years old.

The second participant in the incident, Alexander Pupyshev, was hospitalized. The head of the Motorcycle Sports Federation of Russia, Alexander Dzhus, noted that this case serves as a reminder of the risks associated with motorcycle sports.

‘We are closely monitoring his condition and praying for his swift and complete recovery. This tragic day serves as a stern reminder of the risks inherent in motorcycle sports, especially in challenging disciplines like sidecar motocross’

Tragedy at the championship of Russia in football

In another tragic case, Gennady Korkin died from burns. The man burned down his house while trying to get rid of snakes with cotton. The fire spread to the building where he was located. Korkin managed to escape, but died from burns covering 78% of his body while fleeing to the pond.

The deceased football player is known as one of the best scorers in the history of Lipetsk football, having played for the 'Metallurg' team, participating in 123 matches and scoring 64 goals.
