Battle near Dobropillya: Russian prisoners found themselves in a difficult situation

During the operation near Dobropillya, soldiers from the 25th separate assault battalion captured several Russians as prisoners. Some of them found themselves in a difficult situation, surrounded without food, water, and commanders who left them alone in cellars. According to UkrainianWitness, video of the operation and interviews with the prisoners were published.

'I ran away, but they sent me back here. They sent me back by force. They put me in a pit. Then they pulled me out of the pit and brought me here'

One of the captured Russians, Chingizkhan, admitted that he surrendered because he did not want to participate in combat actions. However, he evaded the question of why he was on Ukrainian territory.

In October, repatriation events took place during which Ukraine received 1000 bodies, which, according to the Russian side, belong to Ukrainian servicemen.

Also, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov announced the resumption of prisoner exchanges through mediation partners in Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. This will allow for the release of 1200 Ukrainians from Russian captivity.

As a result, during the operation near Dobropillya, Ukrainian soldiers achieved victory over Russian forces, who were captured and found themselves in a difficult situation without the necessary resources for survival.
